Whether a student pilot preparing to solo or a veteran crop duster, our goal is to get you into the air and keep you flying. We understand how nerve racking doctor's exams can be. Our goal is to make the process as easy and painless as possible.
We provide FAA 1st, 2nd and 3rd class flight physicals, FAA ATC physicals, BasicMed exams and FAA HIMS services. For those with color vision issues, we have an Optec 900, a FAA approved alternative color vision test. All physicals cost $130, EKG’s are $60 and we accept most forms of payment. Flight physicals are free of charge for student pilots 17 years old and younger.
All physicals are self-scheduled by clicking one of the buttons below. You can change, cancel or reschedule your appointment as needed all from the convenience of your phone. If you need a flight physical and the schedule appears full, contact the office and we will do our best to fit you in..

Prior to your appointment, please visit the FAA's MedXpress site and complete the online application: Be sure to bring your confirmation number with you on the day of your appointment. If you have a complex medical history, please feel free to schedule a free consultation.
Get plenty of rest the night before your apointment. On the day of your exam, avoid caffeine, drink plenty of water and stay relaxed.
About us
Dr. Caldwell has been in love with flying for as long as he can remember. After two decades in emergency medicine, he decided to combine his love of aviation and his dedication to patient care by opening The Aviators’ Clinic. He is a private pilot with seaplane and glider ratings. He has experience in sailplane and power aerobatics, tailwheel flying and glider towing.
We have two convenient locations in Naples and Pompano Beach. The Naples office is on Naples Airport, next to the The Pilot Shop and the general aviation terminal. The Pompano Beach office is only a few hundred feet off I-95 at the Sample Road exit.
